In order to surf the web, there’s a default browser called Safari which comes as a preinstalled app. You can surf unlimited web by using this web browser on an iOS device. Apart from Safari, there are a number of different web browser applications available to be used on an iOS device. If you want to change default web browser on iPhone, just follow below given simple steps to do so. It requires a Jailbroken iPhone with Cydia installed.
How to change default web browser on iPhone – Jailbroken
Step 1 :
First, go to the Apps menu and tap out Cydia‘s icon.
Step 2 :
Click on Search option and search for BrowserChooser by entering it right there.
Step 3 :
You could see the app right there, kindly tap it out and install it on your device.
Step 4 :
Once the app gets installed, make sure to reboot your device once.
Step 5 :
Now, go to the Settings menu and you could see this BrowserChooser app right there. Tap it out!
Step 6 :
Once you tap on the option, you could see a list of all the available web browsers there. You can select your favourite web browser from the list to set it as the default web browser app for your iPhone.
Tip : If you don’t want to keep any default web browser app to your device, just uncheck all the options from the list. Whenever you want to surf a link, you’ll be asked with all the available options to open that particular link.
